Blue Moon Media
Was created by DJ House13 so that he can show his love for House Music around the world by introducing DJ's from across the City of Chicago. DJ House13 grew up on the south side of Chicago. He started DJing in 1982 mixing Disco, 80's and italo in 1984 got into House Music. DJ House13 was part of the House Music Culture in the 80's when everyone was just learning about House Music. Being a young DJ himself back in the day allowed him to see how much House Music has grown throughout the years. Developing Blue Moon Media allows him to showcase some of the new and upcoming DJ's in Chicago. Is it strictly House Music? Not necessarily, there's a lot of young DJ's that are mixing a variety of music from House Music, Freestyle, Metro-House, Deep House, Trance House, Classic House among many other catergories. So if you're looking for a new mix or just want to see what new DJ's are around the City of Chicago tune in Wednesday Night's to
"House Music definitely taught me a lot. Having to create your own identity and become known and respected in this field with so many Dj's and artist - it requires some guts. There are times you have to be strong, and times when you have to stand alone for what you believe in. House Music for Life." ~DJ House13~

FRIDAY NIGHT FIYAH

DJ Chris Perry aka Dabizarone is DJ born & raised in Brooklyn N.Y., who started djing in 1988.His love for music began as a child listening to the soul & r&b records of his parents. He'll tell to this day that he learned to read from playing the old 45's at his parents get togethers in the 70's, when he was only 5 or 6 years old. Along with the rock & roll & popular music his brother listened to (who happens to be a self taught lead guitar player) shaped his love for music.
Moving from Oceanhill Brownsville to East New York in the late 70's also changed the way he looked at music. Witnessing his first block party in 1978 changed everything. Watching the DJ set up at 2 pm and by 8pm having 2 or 3 hundred people dancing in the street ,some of which didn't even like each other made him realize just how powerful music is.
By the late 80's he purchased his first set up.A couple of belt drive gemini turntables and a gemsound mixer. Using such equipment helped hone his skills as he started playin house parties in East New York and the Bronx, spinning mostly hip hop ,r&b & reggae.
The 90's saw him put away the decks to focus on raising a family .But never one to be too far away from music he continued to collect and listen to all types of music. In 2005 with the introduction of dj software, he decided it was time to get back to the thing he loved the most. He purchased the first dj controller made(the behringer bcd3000) & a copy of traktor dj 3 & never looked back.
Since then he has played at a lot of community events in his hometown. Most notably the gowanus houses family day & old timers day for the last several summers.
In 2013 he debuted at The Village Lantern Bar & Lounge in Greenwich Village,N.Y. for Good Peoples Entertainment & The Social Butterfly with DJ Cloud 9 in his hometown of Brooklyn.

Over the last few years he has rediscovered house music and its many sub genres. He found a new love for the music and the people who listen to it. Speaking on why he prefers to play house music."It's a different vibe when playing house compared to other styles. You know when people come to an event they come to have a good time, dance away the everyday nonsense and just enjoy life. It's not just music its a lifestyle. It's all about peace, love & acceptance. It's a world wide community a family, that support and loves each other. There's no other feeling like it in the world.
In 2014 he debuted at Frank's Lounge opening for Eman's monthly RUN BKLYN events. Then in march his debut E.P. was released on Hyde Park House Records. What's That Sound? contains 5 tracks covering several styles of house from soulful, deep, latin afro, jacking.

DJ/VJ LeeJ
Lee Jones
DOB : 04/14/84
Trance Tech/Deep House
DJ since: 2011
My Sound
Commercial Trance & Tech that errs on the side of deep vocal and progressive.
The Trance scene became known to me at school aged 14. I spent hours searching CD's to record my favourites onto tape/MD, and then play it to my mates on our hour long bus trip to/from school.
Friends always said I would make a good DJ!
I always liked being the life and soul of the party, using music to get people talking...drunk...dancing... Happy days!
Since aged 18, GlobalGathering was a must for me, that was the turning point, the pinnacle if you will. 2005 Judge Jules, main stage in the sun and rain- The love for that DJ infused me. I wanted to make people happy under any eventuality.
Gareth Emery inspired me to start learning the art, I've followed him from the first time I heard his set on Radio1 essential mix.
His mixed style in Trance and Progressive House to Dub. Playing out a DJ set that isn’t afraid to jump through genera, but still in keeping with the harmonic of the mix.
Keeps you on your toes and the energy high. He has also inspired me to start learning music production in an attempt to understand my own DJ sets and take them to the next level.
Career highlights so far: BPM DJ of the week 2013 - BPM DJ of the month 2013 - BPM DJ of the week 2014
Here's what the BPM had to say:
With just under six weeks to go until BPM, the DJ of the Year competition is really heating up as August pulls summer into full swing. DJ of the Week this time is LeeJ (Lee Jones), whose seamless mixing and great track choices make him a worthy winner in a hotly-contested week 18. His deep, brooding tech house mix soon set the heart of the BPM office racing with its suspenseful, eerie vibes. After opening with pulsating, bass-heavy beats and trippy vocals, Lee takes us on an atmospheric journey through the dark Berlin vibes of &ME’s ‘After Dark’ and ‘Locust’ before moving the mix into brighter territory with the synth flashes and ‘Summer Drops’ of Mendo.
